BTS members Jung Kook and RM are poised to captivate audiences with their upcoming feature-length documentaries, set to be released by Hybe Corp. this October. The films, “Jung Kook: I Am Still” and “RM: Right People, Wrong Place,” will delve into the personal and professional journeys of these two acclaimed artists. Directed by Lee Seok-joon, who previously worked on J-Hope’s music videos for “Arson” and “MORE,” the documentaries promise to deliver an intimate look at the lives of Jung Kook and RM.
“Jung Kook: I Am Still” chronicles the artist’s eight-month journey following the solo debut of his hit single “Seven (feat. Jack Harlow).” Jung Kook has swiftly risen as a prominent solo artist, with successful releases such as “3D (feat. Latto)” in July 2023, further solidifying his status. The documentary will be available across 120 countries starting September 18, underscoring Jung Kook’s global appeal.
On the other hand, “RM: Right People, Wrong Place” will premiere at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival in October. This film captures the production of RM’s second solo album, “Right Place, Wrong Person,” released in May.

The documentary explores RM’s multifaceted identity, chronicling his journey as BTS’ leader, a solo artist, and an individual named Kim Namjoon. The film’s narrative is enriched by the sensual cinematography that was well-received in the music video of his solo album.
Hybe Corp. plans to enhance the viewing experience by offering digital surprises throughout the four-week screening period. A clip from the film has already been released, generating substantial anticipation among fans. In addition to traditional screenings, the film will have an open-air screening at Busan from October 2 to 11, at a venue accommodating large crowds eager to witness these cinematic experiences.
